One-tenth of real estate agents earned less than $23,000 and 10% earned more than $110,000. Overall real estate brokers and sales agents earned a median income of $50,300 a year in 2018. Median meaning the half that earned more than this, and half that earned less. Top real estate agents make a lot more, and agents who sell one home every few months earn less.
