Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo

Brigham Young University is located in Provo, Utah. This University is also known as BYU, in this blog, I will be calling Brigham Young University BYU. As a matter of fact, BYU is where both my mom and dad went to school. BYU is a private research university owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The average cost before aid is $18,776 for all students regardless of their residency. This fee is comprised of $5,602 for tuition, $7,628 room and board, $848 for books and supplies. However, the average cost after aid is $13,000. The acceptance rate is 52%, and the graduation rate is 59%.

The most popular majors at BYU, Provo include, business management, marketing, and related support services, biological and biomedical sciences, engineering, education, social sciences, and accounting. BYU is also known for it's academically minded and internationally experienced student body, its world-class teaching and its beautiful mountain location. BYU is also recognized for its extensive language programs, talented performing arts ensembles, OUTSTANDING sports programs.

As I mentioned earlier BYU is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, about 1 percent of BYU students aren't Mormons, according to BYU 95.7% of people identify as religious, with 93.3% identifying with the  LDS Church.

The average ACT score composite at BYU is a 30. The 25th percentile ACT score is 26, and the 75th percentile ACT score is 31. In other words, a 26 places you below average, while a 31 will move you up to above average. The average GPA at BYU is 3.84. This makes BYU extremely competitive for GPA's with a GPA of 3.84, BYU requires you to be near the top of your class, and well above average. You'll need mostly A's, ideally with several AP or IB classes to help show your preparation at a college level.

  1. You need to read your blog after you write it to make sure you don't have stupid syntatic mistakes like this one:
This University is also known as BYU, in this blog, I will be calling Brigham Young University BYU.

  2. "$5,602 for tuition," this is only for one semester. There are two semesters in a year (and spring and summer terms if you want extra).

You also didn't include the fact that each year BYU always wins the most sober university award.
