University of California Berkeley (UC Berkeley)

The University of California Berkeley also known as UC Berkeley is a public research university in Berkeley California. this university was founded in 1868, it is the flagship campus and the oldest of the ten campuses of the University of California. The average cost before aid is $38,066 and after aid is $15,464. The graduation rate is 92% and the acceptance rate is 17%. Which is pretty high compared to the other universities in this blog. I'll leave the links down below.

What is UC Berkeley known for? Across 22 subject ratings, UC Berkeley ranked first in chemistry and in environmental/ecology, third in physics and in space science, fourth in economics and business, biology and biochemistry and plant and animal science, fifth in mathematics, and seventh in engineering and arts and humanities.

To be able to pass the UC Berkeley admissions requirements you would need a GPA of 3.85 unweighted or higher, a 4.39 weighted GPA or higher. A score of 2171on the SAT OR 33 on the ACT. UC Berkeley is ranked as the number 1 public university followed by the University of Washington and UCLA.

One of the best things about UC Berkeley is the vast ethnic, racial, religious, cultural, socio-economic, political (etc.) and diversity across campus. UC Berkeley is one of the most accepting and least discriminating universities in the entire world. UC Berkeley is definitely a college I'm interested in, the weather is also super nice because well it's in California!

  1. "A score of 2171 on the SAT OR 33 on the ACT." How can you get 2171 on SAT?
